JERSEY FLY-IN

Our first Fly-In event for some years and I am delighted to share with you all details and a schedule. Tickets for food and entertainment for the day can be purchased both in advance and on the day (detailed below) and are £30 per person. This includes BBQ, live music, sweet treats, quiz entry, light snacks and nibbles and fun rides in the potato truck.
AGENDA
- 09:00 onwards – Club and bar open. Visiting pilots and their passengers receiving complimentary bacon roll to welcome them to the Jersey Aero Club
- 10:30-12:30 – Drive-in. Interesting cars both old and new meeting in the western half of the club car park. Feel free to have a wander and a look around!
- 13:00 – 14:00 – Live music from Annie Law singing with acoustic guitar in the club room
- 14:00 – 16:00 – BBQ. Tickets can be purchased from Fatima behind the bar from Friday 5th July onwards. There will also be a clipboard in the bar area for you to reserve tickets should the bar be closed. Tickets will be available to purchase on the day too from Ashley (our recently appointed Treasurer and all round very nice lady!) who will have a small table set up just to the left as you walk into the clubroom upstairs, she will also take payment here on the day for those who have reserved tickets on the aforementioned clipboard.
- 17:00 onwards – Aviation themed quiz in the clubhouse with light snacks and nibbles. Prizes up for grabs for both winners and losers!
John Le Ruez has kindly offered rides in his traditional Jersey potato farming truck. These are open to all members and our guests who have purchased a BBQ ticket and will be approximately 20 minutes duration.
