Why Not Try a Trial Flight Lesson!
Thinking of becoming pilot, or perhaps you’d just like to give a loved one a taste of flight?
Trial flying lessons can be an unforgettable way to experience taking the controls of an aircraft yourself or for the lucky recipient of a trial voucher. All flights can be logged in your Pilot’s logbook.
You will be sitting in the front of the aircraft with access to the flight controls under the guidance of your fully certified and highly skilled Flight Instructor, who will explain the process of becoming a Private Pilot and answer any questions you have along the way!
Whether it’s a flying experience for yourself or as a gift, buying a trial flight online is simple and vouchers can be prepared to be able to give to a lucky recipient.
We haven’t any formal age limits, but those under 16 should attend with an adult. The aircraft we fly is a Piper PA28, which can allow for up to 2 guests to go with the voucher holder. Please ensure to bring a government issued photographic ID for all those going flying who are over the age of 16.
Friends and family are welcome to come up and watch from the Aviator Bar and Café, and wave from the viewing balcony. The opening times are 10:00 to 16:00 daily; closed on Tuesdays
Our prices range as follows:
-
30-minutes £175.00
This includes a circuit of the airfield and a flight briefing
-
45-minutes £230.00
This usually allows for an around-island flight and some aircraft handling; a flight briefing is included as standard
-
60-minutes £275.00
A 60-minute session allows time for a pre and post-flight briefing, a round-island flight and aircraft handling in the Training Zone to the south of the Channel Islands.
The Flying Desk can always be contacted at info@jerseyaeroclub.com or called on +44 1534 74 3990
